I'm very excited to launch my new 3-week program, RISE & ALIGN. The goal of this program is to reset your posture to help you feel taller and more aligned, while relieving built-up tension in your neck, shoulders and back.

PROGRAM: Rise & Align

I talk to clients daily about areas of tightness and discomfort, and by far the most common trouble spots are the neck and lower back. The missing piece for so many? Posture work.

 

When we work on posture, we’re not just “sitting up straighter”. We’re teaching the body how to support itself better so you can sit, stand and move with more ease, less tension and better alignment.

 

The Workouts

 

The RISE & ALIGN Program includes a 3 week calendar of 5 x weekly Pilates strength and stretch sessions.

 

The brand NEW classes included in the RISE & ALIGN Program are:

 

Posture Reset – This class is all about core strength and spinal alignment. You will strengthen your posture-supporting deep core muscles and find mobility, flexibility and alignment in your spine. Stand taller, move with ease, and feel stronger from the inside out.

Upper Body and Posture – Targeting your arms, shoulders and upper back to build strength, improve alignment and support better posture. Incorporating strong but controlled movements, this class will enhance upper body stability so you can stand taller with confidence.

 

If you spend a lot of time sitting, feel stiff in you shoulders and back, or catch yourself slouching regularly, then the RISE & ALIGN Program is for you!

The RISE & ALIGN Program is available to all Pilates By Bel members. You can sign up to a Monthly or Annual Membership from anywhere in the world, including a 7-day free trial to get a taster of the classes.

What equipment do I need?

 

All workouts in the RISE & ALIGN Program can be done bodyweight only, but for the best possible results, you may like to include:

Pilates Ball

 

As always, equipment is completely optional and I encourage you to move in a way that feels good for you.

How do I prepare for the RISE & ALIGN Program?

Start by creating a routine. Set aside time each day to move your body (ideally in the morning!). This is your own time to reset, connect to your body, and feel amazing.

 

Create an energising and inviting space to move. Whether this is in your bedroom, the lounge room, your gym or outside, find a space you feel most comfortable. Roll out your mat and start moving.
