Beginner Quickies: Quick, focussed Pilates classes designed to help first-time movers build confidence and consistency on the mat.
Beginner Stretch and Mobility: Find flexibility, release tension, and learn to move with ease in these beginner-friendly stretch and mobility sessions.
Pilates for Beginners Program: A 4-week program designed for beginners to Pilates as a clear, progressive path to building strength and confidence on the mat. More on this below...
The Workouts
The Pilates for Beginners Program includes a 4 week calendar of classes, designed for beginners to follow along and find consistency and strength on the Pilates mat.
The brand NEW classes included in the Pilates for Beginners Program are:
Beginner Pilates Class: Learn the foundations of Pilates as you move through beginner-level exercises with a sprinkle of burn. Listen to your body, try something new, and enjoy your time on the mat!
Gentle Full Body Pilates: Learn the fundamentals of mat Pilates. Work on your technique and form by practicing slow and controlled movements. Focus on the connection of your breath and the quality of each movement.
Beginner Abs and Arms: A beginner-friendly workout targeting your abs and arms with slow and controlled movements. Build core connection, upper body strength and confidence in your form with clear cues and manageable progressions.
Full Body Stretch for Beginners: Flow through a gentle sequence of stretches designed to release tension and improve full body mobility and flexibility. Perfect as a morning wake-up, evening wind-down, or to support your Pilates practice before or after a workout.
If you are new to mat Pilates, or wanting to revisit and strengthen yoour Pilates foundations, then the Pilates for Beginners Program is for you!

How do I join the program?
Now you know what to expect from this program, it’s time to join!
The Pilates for Beginners Program is available to all Pilates By Bel members. You can sign up to a Monthly or Annual Membership from anywhere in the world, including a 7-day free trial to get a taster of the classes.
Login to https://app.pilatesbybel.com/ to unlock all challenge workouts (plus many more!) in one convenient location.
You can work through the Pilates for Beginners Program at your own pace, however there is a recommended schedule you can follow to maximise the results.
What equipment do I need?
All workouts in the Pilates for Beginners Program can be done bodyweight only, but for an extra challenge, you may like to include:
Pilates Ball
As always, equipment is completely optional and I encourage you to move in a way that feels good for you.

How do I prepare for the Pilates for Beginners Program?
Sign up to a Pilates By Bel membership here to start prepping for the new category and program, which launches March 2026.
Start by creating a routine. Set aside time each day to move your body (ideally in the morning!). This is your own time to reset, connect to your body, and feel amazing.
Create an energising and inviting space to move. Whether this is in your bedroom, the lounge room, your gym or outside, find a space you feel most comfortable. Roll out your mat and start moving.
